Dance Technique Classes
Children’s Musical Theatre Workshop is proud to include the
AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum
a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with
the basics of dancer health and child development.
The ABT® National Training Curriculum consist of a comprehensive set of
age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality
ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
Primary through Level 5 is be taught by ABT® Certified Teacher, Christine Simmons (Miss Crisi), who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
2026-2027 Dance classes offered (Aug - June)

Mondays (at OBPAC Location in Green Room - meet at registration side)
- 4:00pm-5:00pm Elementary Level 1 Combo (Jazz/Tap) ages Kindergarten - 5th grade
- 5:00pm-6:00pm Mini-Combo (Ballet/tap/creative movement) ages *3+ years (*must be potty trained)
Tuesdays (at OBPAC Location upstairs in Blue Room on Registration Side)
- 3:30pm - 4:15pm Elementary Tap Level 2 (Ages 3rd - 5th grade)
- 4:15pm - 5:00pm Elementary Jazz Level 2 (Ages 3rd - 5th grade)
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm T/Th Ballet Levels 1 & 2 (ages 9 and up- *or with teacher placement)
- 6:00pm - 7:00pm Tap -Levels 1 -4 (ages 9 and up- *or with teacher placement)
- 7:00pm - 8:45pm T/Th Ballet Levels 3-5 Pre-Pointe/Pointe (*by teacher placement)
Wednesdays (at PAC Location in Green Room- meet at registration side)
- 3:30pm-5:00pm Upper Elementary Ballet/Lyrical Combo (ages 3rd - 5th grade)
- 5:00pm-6:00pm Modern/Contemporary/ Lyrical Levels 1-4 (ages 9 and up- *or with teacher placement) (Additionally-must be enrolled in ballet).
Thursdays (at OBPAC Location upstairs in Blue Room on Registration Side)
- 3:30pm - 5:00pm Lower Elementary Ballet/Lyrical Combo (ages Kindergarten - 3rd grade)
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm T/Th Ballet Levels 1 & 2 (ages 9 and up- *or with teacher placement)
- 6:00pm - 7:00pm Jazz -Levels 1 -4 (ages 9 and up- *or with teacher placement) *Additionally-must be enrolled in ballet
- 7:00pm - 8:45pm T/Th Ballet Levels 3-5 Pre-Pointe/Pointe (*by teacher placement)
DANCE tuition costs per class are on the registration page through the parent portal.
Winter Dance Showcase Date is Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, this is a non-ticketed performance. This performance is Free & Open seating.
* There is a $50 per dancer Winter Showcase Fee
June Recital Date is Saturday, June 12, 2027, at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, this is a ticketed performance with assigned seating and tickets are purchased through the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center Box Office.
* The $85 costume fee per class for the June recital costumes (Combination classes have 2 costumes).
